Are Beeyoutiful Essential Oils Therapeutic Grade?

Are Beeyoutiful's Essential Oils therapeutic grade?

The answer may surprise you!

It's no surprise that Beeyoutiful's Essential Oils are of the highest quality.  The oils are 100% pure, unadulterated, uncontaminated, and undiluted. Every batch is sample-tested to make sure that it is so, before bottling, during bottling, and after bottling. In addition, tests are done to make sure that the oils meet a certain standard of active components. The oils are tested for purity by gas chromatography, infrared spectroscopy, or both. The testing method is listed on each bottle.

This is the part of the answer that may surprise you:  There is no such thing as "therapeutic grade."

The term "therapeutic grade" was coined by a particular multi-level marketing provider of essential oils.  But there is no formally approved grading standard used consistently throughout the essential oil industry.  There is no standards committee.  There are no independent certifying agencies.  Terms like "therapeutic grade" and "medicinal grade" are simply marketing.  While they may have meaning as defined by the company using the terms, they should not be taken to mean that oils with that label are actually superior to other oils not claiming such a grade.

Beeyoutiful's oils are of the highest quality and are used for therapies, for medicines and for aromatherapy.  They are not called "therapeutic grade" or "medicinal grade" or even "aromatherapy grade," because there is no such thing, except in marketing.

Essential Oils: Therapeutic Grade?

Are Beeyoutiful's Essential Oils therapeutic grade?

I was recently asked this question, and I answered incorrectly.  I wanted my customer to know that the oils we sell are of the highest quality, and that they are not simply fragrance oils.  I had heard the term "therapeutic grade" and knew that it implied the highest quality, and I mistakenly answered affirmatively.  Please forgive me!

Here's the correct annswer:  Beeyoutiful's Essential Oils ARE of the highest quality.

And this part of the answer may surprise you:  There is no such thing as "therapeutic grade."

The next time I'm asked this question, I'll be better prepared.  I will say that Beeyoutiful's oils are of the highest quality and are used for therapies, for medicines and for aromatherapy.  They are not called "therapeutic grade" or "medicinal grade" or even "aromatherapy grade," because there is no such thing, except in marketing.

Drive the Blues Away!

I just discovered a delicious aroma--lemongrass!  I knew about using lemongrass for reducing fever, but I had never tried it in my diffuser.   Today I learned that lemongrass essential oil has been used to help eliminate bouts of depression, moodiness, nervousness, or anxiety.  Lemongrass can be applied to the temples or the bottom of the feet to stimulate blood flow, which helps relieve depression.  But it can also be used for aromatherapy.  I diffused it in my home today, and I really did enjoy the aroma. It was very pleasant and relaxing.  According to Beeyoutiful, "diffusing lemongrass in your home can help drive the blues away!"
