Natural Sunscreen: Bee Shade

Beeyoutiful’s Bee Shade is a chemical-free, paraben-free, and toxin-free sunscreen option, providing 30 SPF, to protect your skin from damage without exposing yourself to dangerous ingredients found in most sunscreens. The barrier-providing active ingredients are Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide. These two amazing minerals block the damaging effects of the sun, providing you with the protection you need to enjoy the outdoors when it is not possible to protect the skin in other ways! The supporting “inactive” ingredients work to nourish and moisturize your skin to support that healthy glow.

All-Natural Ingredients:

Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide- Both are naturally occurring minerals that deflect the sun’s rays from your skin. As they sit on the skin’s surface, they disperse the sun’s rays off the surface of the skin thus effectively blocking them from actually penetrating the skin.

Aloe Vera Gel- This nutrient-rich gel from the Aloe Vera plant that not only nourishes the skin with an almost complete range of nutrients, but it provides moisturizing and healing benefits as well.

Beeswax- Considered nature’s waterproofer. It does double duty providing a natural base for the minerals, without having to use dangerous petroleum-based waxes.

Shea Butter- This natural, plant-based moisturizer provides the sunscreen with density and body while providing you with extra moisturizing benefits.

Green Tea Extract- In several studies, green tea has been shown to reduce skin damage from the sun. While it cannot block UV rays, it works synergistically with the other ingredients to help neutralize the damage of free radicals and inflammation that can result from over exposure.

Coconut Oil- This plant oil not only adds moisturizing antifungal protection to your skin, but naturally provides a measure of sun protection on its own.

Eucalyptus Oil- Eucalyptus Oil not only provides a great anti-microbial element to the sunscreen to help naturally preserve and stabilize the formulation, but it also assists absorption of the other oils into the skin by releasing oxygen molecules and helping to open the pores.

Gylcerin- A natural humectant that helps to draw in and maintain healthy moisture levels on the surface of the skin.

Sunflower Oil- This vitamin-rich oil helps to infuse nutrients into the skin.

Sunflower Wax- Aids the beeswax in waterproofing the sunscreen.

Lecithin and Jojoba Oil- These provide emollient factors to keep your sunscreen creamy.

Vitamin E and p-Anisic Acid work together as natural preservatives.
